Arriving by train
With a regular service running between London and Edinburgh, taking a train ride is an easy and magical way to reach York. The hotel is a scenic 10-minute, River-Ouse-crossing jaunt from York train station.
Arriving by car
The hotel is found where Clifton and Bootham meet on the A19 – the main road into York from the north. It’s a beauty of a street lined with trees, gorgeous terraced townhouses and cobbled margins where the animals would have grazed on grass verges back in the day.
Parking
The hotel has 8 private parking spaces at the back of the hotel, priced at £20 per car, per night which must be booked prior to arrival. Please use the postcode Y030 7AA on a SatNav to be directed straight to the car park. There’s also a public car park just a 5 minute walk away called Marygate Car Park.
